I'm reluctant to discuss anything new or unique for fear of it becoming the next meme after Seikos. Pic related.

And yet you found the thread anyways, retard, so I guess it wasn't that hard, now was it? Adding "thread" to your search further narrows it down to a mere three threads.

And get a better phone.

What's the price equivalent of buying a real Casio and doing a polarize negative mod. Like this watch?

>>
>>54853479

Eh. I like some of their displays and number sizes.

With cheap watches it's a gamble, really.

I guess I'll try one out to see how good they are.

What do you mean by polarize negative? just negative display? Negative display with blue numbers?

There are low range g-shocks with negative displays, so depends on where you live that would be between 50 and 70 $ I guess.

If it's a custom job, then I'd say you could do it yourself.

However, if you open the watch you fuck up the water resistance, and I dont recommend negative displays anyways.

G-shocks usually have the "light brown" or white on black display which sucks for visibility.

Casio only makes one greatly visible negative display which is a yellowish color on black, like picrelated.

Casio makes polarize negative watches already.

Bought one like this for my little bro. The pic makes it look sparkly, but it is really matte black.

Oh thank you. Answers everything I wanted to know about negative displays. I don't want to do it.

I did my research on the 5600 model just now and geez "15 seconds per month". Wow.

I ordered a A159 and it does +/- 30 sec seconds per month. Where a basic cheap Casio analog does +/- 20 sec per month.

I personally am anal about watches, and all my g-shocks are both solar and have atomic timekeeping.

Solar because if I ever open the case to change the battery the water resistance wears out and with atomic timekeeping there's nigh to no second loss/variation.

Wave ceptor casios also check radio signals to adjust time.

So look for

>Solar
>Atomic
>RCVD (Wave Ceptor)

There are plenty of 5600 models with these, but they're on the expensive side.

Look for 5600 models on this list. All of those have those features.

No, not really. It looks like garbage. Take a look at the Seiko Presage line or the Citizen Signature Grand Classic Automatic.

No crash, instead expect a smartwach-crisis with quartz "dumbwatches" going near extinct. Also expect "luxury" Casios with simple 6x8 quartz movements costing around $1000 by the mid 2020's.
