Well at first 32GB was plenty (27GB usable). I put a small 20GB music library on it and the rest was used for apps and music video or two. But then I started watching movies on it and collecting more music. Soon I had to constantly delete stuff left and right because there was no storage space left.

No. MM touchwiz is very lightweight and all the unwanted fluff can be disabled now without even rooting.
Exynos (international) models have unlockable bootloader and easy root but will only get tw based custom roms and kernels because lack of Exynos documentation. US models will probably not even get root because they're locked down hard.
I'd honestly never use CM on a phone like this anyway because you'd be gimping the camera and half the extra features you paid for.

Thinking about the Samsung S7, but I'm a bit worried about all the bloatware desu. I had the S2 and it was pretty bad. The 615 is significantly slower than the 801 as is the accompanying GPU.
My MOTO G crapped and mate gave me his HTC one mini, I rooted it and put Cyanogenmod on it. Fucking amazing, first time ever rooting and using Cyanogenmod. Should I keep using this outdated phone until it dies or should I get a chinkphone, I'm honestly really not fussed at all about buying a xiaome redmi note 3 now that I know how easy rooting is and how awesome cyanogenmod is.
