I currently use rhythmbox as a daily-using music player of my desktop, because it is default music player of my OS. However, I think it has boring UI and capacities. I need more functions and prettier UI such as mini UI mode which shows Album art and small controller, like iTunes. I already tried banshee, but It was too buggy on my environment. So I want to ask, what do you recommend for the alternative of rhythmbox?
ncmpcpp
I don't know a good alternative, just keep using it, it's good. Terminal music players gave me headaches brcause you have to configure them to your preference. Deadbeef is good but I don't like it.

gmpc has that as well
it's a gtk frontend to mpd

Never even heard about MusicBee, but while I go look it up why don't you try out amarok and lollypop?

Maybe Tomahawk, Clementine, Lollypop, or Audacious would work for you.

deadbeef
Mpd + ncmpcpp or cmus

Audacious will be more similar to foobar2k than MusicBee.

damn that actually does kinda look like foobar, will definitely have to try it.
The library search tool is the great, I can't live without that feature anymore
