Why is this shit lagging so bad?
I watched Based Terry the other day and realized how good that bookmarks sidebar is. Only Firefox has a good sidebar so I started using it, but for some reason the scroll is laggy as fuck on Wangblows 10.
am i shadowb&?
Firefox is really bad indeed.
Try Opera. Yes Opera is shitty is some ways too, but at least it's not laggy and I think it's the best shitty browser right now.

That money that was supposed to pay developers? We needed that money for dem programs.
I tried to fix Vivaldi to do it (because it actually has a decent sidebar), but my autism is too strong. I get a some more space in Firefox, also I have an ability to make separators and open new tabs in a custom home page. Fuck it. Scrolling seems fine at the moment, hope it'll stay that way.
It's the best browser

Why the fuck did they make Vivaldi's ui in javascript. If it was native i would immediately switch. It's so laggy it's a shame cuz it has nice features.

VIvaldi runs perfectly fine for me. It's like a Chrome with more design options and other cool stuff (like sidebars, and some neat dev tools).
I just don't use it too much because muh autism and it takes a lil bit too much screen space.

Firefox UI has been Javascript for over a decade lad, it isn't slow because its Javascript, its slow because your computer is shit.
i just use chrome
firefox just feels clunky, slow and outdated to me

Chrome is the best for me too, but god damnit, is it that hard to make a sidebar for bookmarks? FFS.

>Opera
You mean Chromium reskin #2304
or Opera 12 ?
It started to lag like a mofo again. Definitely not my PC, it's new and powerful. Chrome is smooth as fuck.
Weird, I switched from Chrome to Firefox because Chrome was being slow as fuck.

>on windoze 10
found your problem
Firefox -> Help -> Troubleshooting Information
your history, favorites, etc. will be moved to a new profile
you will need to reinstall any addons you had but the rest gets transferred
profile rot causes slowness in firefox, creating a new profile fixes this

then i guess we have different standards to what is considered acceptable lag.

Dude, Vivaldi runs equally well as Chrome for me. (At least I didn't notice it and I am usually pretty OCD about that). Maybe I'm wrong, idk, didn't use it too much.

firefox's ui isn't javascript, its XUL.

I'm more wondering what is going on with the shitty youtube support. It's gotten so bad I had to install chromium to watch things without it constantly stopping and fucking up.
>>54817316
Yeah, it sometimes waits for, like, 20 seconds before starting.
