Hey /g/. I'm going to be starting college next year and I need some help picking a laptop. Pretty bummed I can't bring my new battle station :/
Just want an HP laptop that will last for a long time for a good price
Must be:
>more than $900, but as close to $900 as possible
>must be an HP normal/business/gaming laptop
>long battery life for notes throughout the day
>need a nice keyboard for essays so I won't be getting a shitty detachable tablet device
>don't really care about the touchscreen feature
Currently leaning towards the HP "EliteBook Folio G1 Customizable" or the "HP ENVY Best Value Laptop"
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks g/uys

Why does it have to be HP of all brands ?

Maybe his school has some deal with HP, where he can get an HP notebook for 100 dollars off or something. My school has a similar deal with Dell and Apple. I'm probably going to take advantage of it on my last semester.

Got a 25% off discount and I'm trying to save some money. Really want to buy tomorrow during the memorial day sale.

Why can´t you bring your battlestation?
Set it on your room and let it there. Get an IBM Thinkpad for 200$ for all your college needs.
>bringing the battlestation is too expensive
I´m pretty sure it´ll be less than the extra +700 you´d be spending by getting that HP.

Get a fucking X220 and an extra battery.
