The first MBA was such shit that people readily bought the new models as soon as they came out. Now they've improved so much that people are actually satisfied with them and don't care much about upgrading.

So they came out with the new MacBook, which again is utter shit first gen, and now idiots will buy that shit up and find out it is indeed a piece of shit and be more than willing to upgrade in a year.

best trackpad, great keyboard, all it needs is a decent 1080p or higher ips screen and the latest intel processors and it would be a great computer.
