Oh my god
WHY ARE ALGORITHMS SO FUCKING HARD
ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS PROGRAM VIDEO GAMES
Lel did you actually go to university
>>54801465
Then program video games.
>>54801465
They are not that hard, just think about them

I feel you OP. I'm 20 days away from my final for algorithms. Haven't studied for it one bit. I'm compensating for the other courses such as distributed systems and operating systems since I work as a sysadmin atm. Dunno if I'll ever be able to get algorithms...

glslsandbox.com
might help out, even if a small amount.
You're clearly not intelligent enough to be a programmer.
Fuck off, Pajeet.
Just become a code artisan :^)

first one crashed my graphics driver, fucking AMD
nice website
>>54801465
which algorythm in particular are you having problems with?
also, are you this guy? >>54801616

>using the smiley with a carat nose
Algorithms (as taught in intro to algorithms or whatever) is pointless for making video games (and programming in general really). Don't worry about it.
>>54802759
Shadertoy is nicer.
Algorithms are things you find as you need them.
>>54803676
sure if you want to be a script monkey algorithms are useless. you can say you are le game designer and talk shit about the dev team all the time and say UX is most important part of game dev
>>54801879
>he thinks you need to go to university to be a programmer
Quality thread.
>>54803716
I find that for gamedev (not engine dev) the most important this is iteration time. Cleaning shit up later isn't hard.
For engine dev. Algorithms fall to the wayside when you realize that most data structures which enable fancy searching (for instance) tends to be slower simply because memory access.
There's exceptions of course.
If you don't abstract things in a way that allows UX to be easy to do that's another issue.

That's 2.147GB, retard.
