Is there a god damned keyboard out there yet that can beat this?

I thought the Logitech G810 was going to be it, but then I discovered that they don't have onboard memory.

Other keyboards either have shit light colors, are missing media keys, or don't have all keys fully backlit. How fucking hard is this, people?

I want to get a Noppoo Choc Mini with browns. It's my only option for keyboards with this format since Keycool 84 comes with shit kailhs now.

How do gateron browns compare to cherry browns? I hear they are somehow "smoother" yet a bit more tactile? I do agree that cherry browns feel somewhat ambiguous and mushy

In that case, recommendations for a cherry compatible (as zealios are) keyboard with decent caps for less than $100, so that I can spend less than $300 (as even in the group buy the zealios switches are still going to cost $82, and non group buy would be $110)

I bought a Magicforce with black switches because I'm trying for a blue and white theme with my desk. I need blue keycaps for the modifier keys(everything but the letters and numbers) since the stock keycaps have all the functions listed on them. The whole Z through M row has media controls that I doubt I'll ever memorize. Where is the best place to buy these? I also am looking for a cable similar to the one in the picture. The only thing I could find was $20 cables from custom cabling sites. Is that the only option?

P.S. this keyboard is incredible for the price.
>>
>>54819562
You can find blue modifiers, but I'm not so sure about finding them in OEM profile. I'm guessing your best bet would be to go look on aliexpress or Taobao.

Or you could just get some vortex doubleshot PBT, they have a very nice set that comes in blue and white.
Remembering a function layer really isn't that hard. Just use it for a week and you'll have it all down.

And yes, custom cabling sites will most likely be your only option for something that specific. You can always make your own though.
>>
>>54819638
You're right I probably can memorize it. I was mostly just hoping to save some money by buying fewer keycaps. The vortex are nice but a set is twice as expensive as they board it's self was.

Are the taihao ABS double shot caps alright? Found a full set for $25.

Is there a good, simple tenkeyless that's wireless? Doesn't have to be EXTREME MINIMALISM like some of the keyboards here, but a no-nonsense design is nice. Doesn't even have to be mechanical, to be honest.

Let's see.

The pok3r is quite popular. You could get the one from WASD and use the rest of your budget on some nice keycaps (the stock ones have laser etched legends).

There's also a bunch of other options out there, like the Ducky Mini if you want fancy lights.

If you're interested in matias switches (I only have experience with dampened cream alps) but I hear that they're quite nice, there's the KBPv60, not to mention the galore of other 60% option out there.

https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/search.php?keyword=&brand=&switch=&size=60%25&led=either&capmat=&capprint=&model=&in_stock=off&in_stock=on&preorder=off&preorder=on

And yes, I'm aware that you're in Germany, but if you want ANSI you're not really going to get around importing things from the US. Though maybe you can find some stuff in netherlands online retail since they also use ANSI there. Should save you some shipping costs at least.

>>54824135
I don't know if it's "the best", but I recently came across this here, which is already quite a lot considering how rare that colourway is.

>>54824176
These are all the memes I have right now.

I was going to sell the Shine 4, but I didn't hear from the guy who was interested in buying it in ages.

Next on my list is a Clueboard with Matias QC and a Wooting One once it releases. Also going to build two numpads. And that split build I keep talking about. Though none of this will be happening before August the earliest.

Maybe I'll pick something up when I'm in Japan though.

No cheap vendors/group buys right now.
feng seems to be back from his trip so GeekKeys is an option.

>who makes the best "black"on "black" keyset?
They're more like black on dark gray. Objectively best would be a thick dye subbed set in PBT.
GeekKeys seems to have a set and Originative has partnered with some new manufacturer to make one. It's also a very common option in recent group buys for thick PBT, but nothing is active right now.

I have one of those Team Wolf keyboards with their knock off blues (Gateron white are on their way, curious about 35g actuation)

The switches it ships with aren't awful, but they feel notably different from Cherry MX for the blues (reds feel passable). It's still doable, you can get Gateron browns for like $30 for a whole fuckin set.

The keyboard itself feels sturdy enough too, not a bad budget case considering what you can make work with it.
