Hey, i'm a novice, self-taught coder trying to write a program in Blue Jay to generate a Menger Sponge fractal. it this point in the process (pic related), I should have a white cube against a black background, rotating at rate "a", but when I complied the script, I received the error shown at the bottom. How do I fix this?

Only variable declarations and method definitions belong in a class.
3 closing curly braces, 2 opening curly braces

This is just a guess, but did you start with Processing before moving on to BlueJ? All your methods seem more akin to Processing, but Processing has a built in graphics library. In BlueJ, and most other Java IDEs, you'll need to import some sort of graphics library. This means that none of the methods you're invoking do anything which is why you are getting an error.
Java isn't an scripting language, you have to put the translate etc.. inside a method

>blueJ
>thinking you'll ever understand programming like this
