Honestly I only bought it because when I was a small child at age of 2 I always wanted an alienware laptop I love the logo and I feel more of a geek for having it

Craigslist. The HDD was fucked and the guy didn't want to fix it, so I put in an SSD. It was about $300 all told. It's a good machine.
X220s are about $270 on eBay anyway, so $200 isn't a shocking deal.

Not as great when you consider what you got yourself. If you want Alienware M11X, I would either look for the R2 or R3 version which is much better than the one you got.
Still, this is a very old Alienware laptop and playing games will be limited in old games up to late 2000s at best. The only reason people want to buy this Alienware is the small factor (11.6 inch) which is a very niche market even today.
For the laptop speed, yes, it's very slow as it's a Core 2 Duo which isn't going to be fast unless you overclock it (which you need to if you want to play any older games). At best, this laptop will be as a laptop to go online, watch video, doing small things and that's it.
If you can, maybe fix it and try to sell it to someone who might want it as a toy or rip it apart and sell them as spare parts.
For me, I actually own an Alienware M11X R2 and it's actually not a bad small light gaming laptop on the go for me. Few things I have to do with mine which is mostly consist of cleaning the fans which is urgent if you want to keep this type of laptop alive (unless you want to kill it). A fun fix up for me and max it with a 1TB HDD and consider to add a
Mini PCI-E Express Card Slot to USB Interface Adapter Riser Card Expansion in the laptop (add another USB port inside the computer).
Still, if you can get it very cheap, it's actually an interesting laptop for the time which won't really work now because of how small the laptop is.

See I only bought the laptop to play super smash bros melee on gamecube using the gamecube emulator dolphin thats all literally the laptop I have now is a gateway 6gb ram big scrreen but I honestky dont care much for it because it lags on the smash bros game and because the alienware has a way better graphics card I would rather have that trust ne I have tons of fame on my cfw ps3 and my rgh xbox I dont care about playing pc games on this

I don't play GameCube emulator on my Alienware M11X R2 as I have a custom desktop for it if I ever need to. Based on the specs and what you need to get the dolphin working, it won't be too fast as the CPU will kill it (if you stick with the R1 specs). If you have the R2 or R3, it might be possible to play some of the gamecube games at good fps if you do some stuff on the graphics side.

Like I say, I don't know as I never test mine for it. I guess the best way is when you get the laptop, do try some test to see if it can play any gamecube games on emulation. Based on my past experience with laptop and gaming, the CPU and GPU is something you need to be decent to consider emulation of any game console.
They're few video of emulation on Alienware M11x on Youtube but I have a feeling, most of them are the later version (R2 and R3) which have a better CPU and somewhat decent GPU over the 1st version. Your mileage may vary. Still, test to see if it's worth it or not.

Since we already know you're a tad young im going to explain some things to you.
smash bros melee on dolphin is cpu intensive, im not sure if you realize this, but emulating gamecube uses quite a bit of cpu power, with that laptop you wouldnt be able to run melee at even 40% of the speed.
Even if you somehow scrambled dolphins configurations to get 30 frames, melee runs and is designed entirely for 60.
sources, i7 6700k cpu + gtx970 and I get 90 frames on melee.
bad news, you lost $200 for supposedly the one thing you wanted.
