>Founders Edition is bullshit
>who's pay more for reference edition
>I'll wait for AIB partners and get the cheaper cooler ones
It's still the same board just with another cooler, but that being said the nvidia blower cooler is fucking useless
GEYMING ECKS

haha get fucked euro cucks

You use on-board gpu I assume? Just prefer to use old tech since all you do is code all day and who needs gfx for text on screen amirite?

>the nvidia blower cooler is fucking useless
It's the best option for people with SFF cases though. Even though it's less efficient than a custom cooler, it's still far more efficient than the blowers partners release.
Especially since this generation is featuring the vapor chamber again.
They're on sale already? Wut?
Oh, preorder. Still, hm. Wonder when they ship.

>It's still the same board just with another cooler
But that's a complete lie. Most of the AIB partner 1080s are using custom PCBs with upgraded components, power circuitry and power connections. EVGA's FTW model has a 10+2 phase VRM design versus the 5+1 phase of the reference board for example.

Neat, now I just wait for 1080Ti so I can upgrade from 980Ti. I love MSI coolers and you can shat on me for that as much as you want.
wow 1000 usd

Gaming X is custom board with 8+6 pin connectors, though
>>54775347
I'm buying the reference meme edition because my 780 is in dire need of replacement.
I'll go for a fancier custom board once 1080Ti comes out in a few months or whenever, then my 1080 will probably end up in a watercooled build since there's plenty of full-cover blocks available for it.
Also, tax deduction because I use my pc for work.

Imagine all the overclocking we can get out of that when it can't even handle factory turbo temps.
