I have $200. What is a good Bitcoin miner to buy? Could Bitcoin miners be built like PCs?
Go on google, there is some specific hardware for mining. You'll most likely need to join a pool and recieve a smalllllllllllllllll portion of the mined bitcoins though. I'd keep the 200$.
200 bucks gets you a r9 290 reference card.
which you should never use for bitcoin mining since bitcoin is more or less dead. you're way too late.
Depends on what kind of time machine you're using to go back to 2010.
Lol op you're 5 years too late.
You will not get back the $200 you spent on the hardware, coupled with the electricity usage, for many many years. Spend it on something better.

> bitcoin is more or less dead
What?
You can buy drugs online with it, steam games, sex toys, gift cards for various sites, etc. It's better for online payment than dealing with bullshit corporations like Paypal, and you can remain completely anonymous when paying for things.

just because it has uses like that doesn't mean it isn't overvalued.
turning dollars into pesos, however, is a better idea for buying drugs and sex.

Unless you can get electricity for free you won't make money back on the mining hardware anymore.

Online you can get clean uncut high quality drugs, without any danger of getting violently robbed, good luck with that in Mexico.
