Haven't used my youtube account in a while, I made a new one and... what the fuck? There's no longer any "add to favorites" option?
Why would they get rid of favorites? Is it a glitch? Am I missing something obvious here? This makes no sense.

Favorites were removed years ago in favor of playlists for consistency and organization. Instead of "favoriting" a video you now just add it to any one of your personal playlists. You can name one Favorites if you'd like.

I see. But does that do the same thing? I always assumed adding a video to your favorites affected what was generated in the recommended videos category

I believe recommended videos are only affected by what you watch and by what you givea like to, since the whole favorites system as it was has been removed
