Are sites that offer to teach you how to become a hacker worth it /g/? I want to work in cyber security but I don't want to get into debt with student loans. Can I pay a few $100 to one of these sites and get hired with a cert?

If you really want to work in cyber security, hack trickz aren't enough, you actually gotta know how a freaking computer/network/software works.
Just get a normal degree in network engineering or systems or even software engineering, or whatever the fuck you want, and get a cert afterwards.
Most schools should even offer you a specialization in security.
