Who gives a sweaty shit? It's nothing more than a Chrome clone with a built in adblocker these days.

What happened to the built in"VPN" doesn't seem to work anymore.

Was dead when they abandoned Presto.

Tripfag gets something right for once.

Opera died three years ago.
>>
>>54737464
I remember Opera mini being the only usable browser on my Blackberry Curve.
RIP, nostalgia.
>>
It doesn't surprise me.
After i abandoned Chrome (after test trying it to see if it is worth it to move from Fireshit),
i tried Opera. I wanted to see whether Opera at least fixes the lack of tab lazy loading in Chrome.
At least that shitty lazy loading extension on Chrome works for 10 seconds (but ain't worth a shit for sessions of over 80 tabs). Opera doesn't even have any lazy loading.

If you are gonna be a copy of Chrome, at least fix some of the complete and utter shit points of Chrome. Opera is basically an even shittier Chrome.
>>
>>54737464
Welcome to the other botnet.
>>
>>54738605
yeah opera mini is also the only decent android browser I'll be sad to see it go, or turn into chinese botnet, maybe those guys who split off to make their own version of opera whose name I can't remember at the moment, will produce their own version of opera mini
>>
Still the best browser by far.
>>
>>54737484

>>54737484
no, but you can desecrate the corpse
>>
Pretty sure Opera was dead since quite a time ago
>>
>>54738870
Nah, once they switched to Chropera SeaMonkey and Firefox became better.
>>
Well, at least there's still Vivaldi I guess.
>>
Such a sad thing to hear, it was fast as hell and didn't constantly assault me with google shit.
>>
>>54739216
Which is rubbish, shut up. It looks okay-ish and has a couple of nice features, but nothing amazing and even since 1.0 it runs like shit, contrary to all the reviews I've read. It's noticeably slower than chrome, and if it's noticeably slower than chrome I don't give a rat's ass about it.
>>
>>54739785
Of course it's noticeably slower, the UI is written in Node.JS. It's essentially a Chromium web app running fullscreened.
>>
>>54739285
Chinese investors promised the Norwegian government they would keep all Opera R&D in Norway.

I was using it in the hospital since they blocked the 4chans.
>>

I just threw up in my mouth.

I trust Chinese software more than American software.

>XP

It's 2016. XP is dead. Microsoft killed it. It's time to move on.
>>
>>54740512
XP lives on as POSReady 2009, which still receive updates for three more years.
>>
>>54740416
fucking google, they should have made Chromium closed source.

ten years from now there will be at least 100 chromium based browsers

Aren't we practically at that point already? One, two years tops sounds like a more practical estimate

It costs literally nothing to install a free Linux distribution like Xubuntu, a modern OS.

I am only using Opera for porn'n'shit. Don't care if it is NSA or CHINKSA who see what kind of catgirls I am fapping.
Vivaldi for accounts and work.

Cost millions to upgrade the entire environment.

Yes I own a mid-sized business (read:cybercafe). After this I'm seriously considering of using linux for each and every computers in my premise
