>Android still has nothing but shitty browsers

>Firefox is slow as fuck

Why is every browser on Android complete shit?

What's the least shitty browser on Android, /g/?

It doesn't even block ads

Miui browser is pretty gud
>>
Samsung browser

Renders everything without errors and has real adblock support. Relatively fast and stable as fuck.
>>
Opera is best
>>
>>54734770
Naked Browser of course.
>>
>>54734770
Chrome being botnet is not an argument because android in it self is one. Kill yourself.
>>
>>54734770
In my humble opinion, it's the Japanese Sleipnir. Scales great on a tablet.
>>
>>54735019
But AOSP without Gapps?
>>
Has anyone tried Gello yet?
>>
Firefox, obviously, if only for the fact it supports addons (ever tried ublock with the "I don't care about cookies" list?). I bet less than half of /g/ ever gave it a spin.

>>54734855

Tip: stripping a browser of all its features doesn't make it faster. The underlying engine is what really counts.

AdBlock browser seems to do the job. Its firecucks based but seems to run better, perhaps because of all the background shit it is blocking. Gets it done for me.

Why would you run a browser made by a company that gets paid by Google to run their ads instead of Firefox with uBlock Origin?
>>
>>54734770
Chrome is the only good one on android. Fuck off with your botnet, nobody cares that you fap to scat porn.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Android, is in fact, Linux/Android, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Linux plus Android. Android is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a functioning Linux system made useful by the Linux kernel vital system components comprising a full operating kernel as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of Linux system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Linux which is widely used today is often called “Android”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Linux system, developed by the Linux Foundation. There really is an Android, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Android is the utilities: the programs in the system that Linux allocates through the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The utilities are essential parts of an operating system, but useless without a kernel; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Android is normally used in combination with the Linux kernel: the whole system is basically Linux with Android added, or Linux/Android. All the so-called “Android” distributions are really distributions of Linux/Android.

Right, because Google is so hard to use.

>The EU regulations require that every website must get user's permission before installing cookies. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
>This add-on will remove these annoying cookie warnings from tens of thousands of websites :)

It's available as an add-on or as an adblock list. I wonder how Chrome peasants manage to put up with cookie notices taking up half the screen.

Because I see no functional difference between ABB and FF + uB, and as mentioned, ABB renders faster than FF, uBlock or not?
>>
>>54735225
>ABB renders faster than FF

I'm highly skeptical of this.

http://prebake.eu/

That was easy.

>>54735225
>ABB renders faster than FF, uBlock or not?

Bullshit detected.
>>
>>54734770
I've tried just about all of them and the only one I like is Habit Browser.
>>
>>54734774
Opera is a chink botnet
>>
>>54735340

The customization options are nice, but who knows what kind of jap botnet it runs on your phone. Also, the adblock function is flaky and the night mode is inferior to Firefox's add-on "dark bg & light text". That guy should port the interface over to Firefox, or at least open source it.

Is there a way to set Firefox so its tabs are shown with all the other apps like Chrome?

And other than uBlock origin, what are some essential addons for it?

No

>And other than uBlock origin, what are some essential addons for it?

I'd say "dark background and light text" if you browse by night or have an amoled screen
>>
>>54735044
Okay honest question.

Who here actually uses AOSP without Gapps?
>>
>>54735213
I use a proxy that blocks ads and cookies instead so I can use chrome

>>54737450
even google abandoned that because nobody cared
its gone in v50 and up
>>
>>54738115
nobody except like 0.1% of /g/
>>
RSBrowser
>>
>>54738115
Nobody. Every once in a while some phone company releases a phone without gapps to pander to neckbeards. The first thing 99% of them do when they get the phone is flash gapps
>>
I use CM Browser because everything else seemed shit. It's fast and hasn't crashed a single time on my Droid Maxx. Good shit and underrated in my opinion. Only problem is a lack of ad block

Why is OP always retarded

kek
>>
>>54739535
After installing adaway, some sites simply became inaccessible. I guess they lead through an ad first and then proceed to the actual website, but with adaway I simply get a 'could not be displayed' message.

Any way to circumvent this?

Cyanogenmod just released Gello, its pretty good..
