Okay, I have a little project for work purposes:
I have a camera, which detects movements and makes heatmaps of the area it sees. This camera can be accessed via ethernet and provides configuration per browser.
Now I want that camera to be on the internet.
I am thinking of using a raspberry for that with an UMTS modul which then connects to the camera (PoE).
If that's working I should be able to SSH into the rbp and access the camera right?
Sounds fine. The Pi is great for networked low-demand computing.

If it can be accessed via ethernet, just plug it into your router and portforward it.

Thats the thing, it is required to be just plugged into a power source and wort without a connection to a router. That's why I want to put the umts module on the rbp.

I mistyped that sorry

my main question was if it is possible to access the setting interface of the camera is I SSH into the rbp

Look up a Single Port POE switch, assuming your camera is POE, it will provide power and still let you connect to your router where you can do the port forwarding.

yeah I am thinking of a single port poe switch to power the camera. but there is no router. I have to use a umts modul.
