Can you recommend me a new 24-27" display, /g? I'm still using sammy T260 that I bought back in 2008... seems to be ok for my use case. What are the current trends in display tech? From what I hear 4k and all this curved bs is pretty gimmicky. Is it even worth it to upgrade at this point?

Try 144Hz 1440p or 21:9 1440p if you really want to splurge.
Or get a 144Hz 1080p or normal 1440p. Don't forget G-Sync/Freesync.

I'd recommend a 1440p 144hz IPS display. Also don't buy from ASUS because their quality control is shit nowadays

Honestly its fine 1920x1200p is good for certain games just make sure your running it through HDMI as DVI and VGA look like shit
