Sick of my drives failing every fucking day.
>>

What drives do you have and why do they fail?
>>
>>54722923
>no cover
just awful

I don't think the dust would hurt it that much. Besides, why worry about a cap that can be easily lost?
>>
I too enjoy the muff

enjoy your autism

How are the speeds for you? Does the port ever get too dusty? Apparently it's incredibly waterproof and *proof.
>>
>>54724539
Well she usually cleans up prior, so I don't worry about dust too much, but the speed is more or less up to me unless she wants to take the lead.

I'm fucking dead

I have one of the open ended aluminum drives on my keychain. Dust is never a problem. Even dropped it in seawater once and it's still running fine.

Nice, but slower than my Patriot XT.

keychain flashdrive collection thread, eh? I've dumped both in the pool multiple times, spilled soda on them, still going strong.

I fucking love the sandisk ultra fit. Fast 32gb usb 3.0 the size of a mouse receiver.
>>
>>54725290
I love that ultrafit too. I use it all the time.

Used to have a Sandisk Facet, was pretty nice, but I sold it because I thought I needed more space and speed. Now I have a 64 gb usb 3 Corsair thing, and I never use it for anything else than pdfs. Should've kept the cool red sandisk.

Also have that Kingston drive and a SanDisk 3.0 keychain (The keychain part is out of plastic) drive which I currently use for my OS :)
Never had Problems with them, dust doesnt do anything to them and they seem pretty robust :)

Better looking? Maybe, maybe not. Better? Yes.

Holy shit, that's amazing.
>>
>>54725659
How do you attach that to your keychain? With a piece of string?
>>
>>54725770
Just leave it in your laptop it barely sticks out.

Hey. Guys I'm sorry please.
>>
>>54725614
I have this one, 128GB, can't complain
>>
>>54725614
That looks cool, but when do you actually use that to connect it to your phone?
>>
>>54725922
well right now i am using it to hear episodes of a recently shutdown podcast who released their entire archive, because it would take forever to move it over to my phone.

but have also used it when i'm flashing a new ROM and some other zips on my phone.

surprisingly handy, but not necessary i suppose.

I got you

whats a reliable usb drive you can trust not losing your data for a long time?
I'm probably getting a pair of them and setting redundancy between them on a USB hub.
What do you think of using micro SD cards adapters instead? Aren't they more reliable than usb drives?
>>
>>54723022
Corsair 64GB OTG one and the Sandisk 64GB Dual ended one.
