Seconded, PyCharm Community. It doesn't matter what the IDE is written in -- OP asked what was the best one, and PyCharm clearly is the best one.
What about stuff like Komodo Edit?
i personally use spyder but if you're not doing python for scientific uses you might know something better

You can try it, but if you try Komodo and then PyCharm you'll stick with the latter, I guarantee it. Sad but true.
