I read somewhere that chromeOS is built on top of a lighter gentoo based distro.
Is that true? if it is then why dont gentoomen shill about it around here.
To be honest I'd totally use chromeOS if I didnt have better things to do other than browsing the internet all day, I am sure /g understand ;)
Unrelated but Chromebooks make great fucking linux laptops if you don't mind opening the back up and removing the BIOS write protect screw.
Great battery, good screen, light, cheap. only downside is a weak processor which most distros do fine with.
