and I plan to buy a 1070 on top of this
did I make a good choice on CPU and the main board? I heard samsung is pretty trustworthy but I dont know about the main board

I know that AMD is releasing a new brand, 1070 is just a comparison, I'm gonna buy something near 500$ range
but are the other parts ok
i7 is usually overkill but it's clocked 1/7th faster than the i5. You wont get any benefit going with Skylake over Haswell where gaming is concerned.
