Anyone down to celebrate victory over Pascal in Vegas next year?
32 gigs of Samsung HBM2
14nm
You never saw nvidia scramble this much
Pity post

what's going on?
rip amd
What are you on about now, retard.
Do we know whether the 1080Ti will have HBM or HBM2, or will it be GDDR5X garbage too? Honestly, Nvidia won't stand a fucking chance for the power crown if it is using that ancient shit.

Nvidia is using gddr5x on a 16nm die which is larger than amd's 14nm, higher clock while polaris is at 800mhz base sub 150w, overheats - same heat as maxwell.
Lied in their benchmarks (2x titan x, 10x maxwell)
Tesla p100 based on GP100 (full pascal) tbr next year, next gen vega is converged to compete directly with current gen pascal
Navi = victory
Nvidia knows this from their sources and is under pressure
Intel is bankrolling AMD graphics in their partnership on IGPU

How come nobody ever works with Nvidia on partnerships? Everyone always comes to AMD for tech.
>>54714981
Because AMD actually innovates

>How come nobody ever works with Nvidia on partnerships?
because they''re a historically shitty partner to work with.
For pretty much everyone

Because Nvidia has a big head from having most of the dGPU marketshare. When they work with even bigger companies like Apple, Intel, and Microsoft they don't realize that they're the small fry and generally end up burning bridges(ha). The reason AMD is choosing to go for the mainstream first(other than waiting for HBM for the high end chips) is so that they can throw the mobile versions into partner laptops, namely macbooks. Having free reign of the majority of the market that Nvidia has priced out with their upcoming lineup is likely just a bonus.
In a nutshell:
AMD's early adoption of HBM vs nVidias early lineup release
