Is the Acer XB270HU still a meem monitor, or has something better been released yet? I'm using a Dell Ultrasharp ISP for the color accuracy, but I think it's time to move above 60hz.

Asus monitors have been known to have dead pixels out of the box and have bad backlight bleed. It's like there QA doesn't care, or they expect their customers not to care. However they are actually pretty good about doing RMAs, you literally keep sending them back until you get one you're satisfied with. It's a lottery. Look at pretty much any reviews on Asus monitors.

Dell Ultrasharp, there's a 24" 1920x1200 16:10 model for pretty cheap too. Ips and very thin bezels
However if you want a 1440p ultrasharp there's a 25" and 27", but they're 16:9.
