(disclaimer: this is literally my first time visiting /g/, cus im desperate, so sorry if this isn't where i should be posting this)
im looking for a laptop that i could use for the next 3 years until i can splurge on a good desktop.
i mainly need it for drawing and skyping. my current laptop will only be around till the end of the summer, so im using that time to save up cus currently i dont have a ton of money to spend.
1. i really want at least 8 RAM
2. 64 bit would be sick
3. IPS panel??
any help or recommendations would be super appreciated.

Just get a MacBook, and do your own research why you should or shouldn't. They are definitely some of the best all-round sub $2000 computers. You can always load windows or Linux on if you hate osx
I would say the Yoga X1 is probably the best you could get, but it's also insanely expensive.
HP EliteBook 2730p is $100 on eBay. Doesn't get any more budget than that. Install Krita on it and you're good to go, anon.
im actualli uses and 5 years old Thosiba Satallite as laptop. work great for PS and Sai.
I recomend look for these speecs,
SSD if posible.
