My brother went and got viruses and adware on chrome and I can't remove them even with adwcleaner, malwarebytes, spyhunter, etc.

So I think I should move over to opera. What do you think?

Changing browser wont fix stupid users like your "brother".

If you're so stupid you need a locked down walled garden safe space then your best bet is to install GNU/Linux such as Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE.

Opera is better than Chrome but that's a stupid reason to switch. Changing browsers won't fix stupidity.
