Hey /g/ should I get a degree in cyber security?
I understand it pays a lot and you dont have to be good at programming. Do I need bachelor's degree or can I get by with an associates?

I had cyber security on a first years of Computer Science in uni, we had a meeting with a cyber security company's CEO who was a friend of our professor - believe me, you don't want this job
it's basically being available 24/7, never sleepeng well and living under constant pressure stressing out about all these black hats who can broke your code when you're not looking

It doesn't pay more than any other IT monkey gig, has 0 career advancement prospects and is boring a fuck paper pushing. Why would you do that to yourself?

Yes it's called security, not daycare. And you aren't stressing out. If you stress out it looks like you don't know how to do your job
