I tried Ubuntu on my netbook. Unity was actually really awesome, but it was just too buggy to work. It's the same for every baytrail .

No, it's definitely the kernel. Performance was smooth, cpu and ram usage were low.

Look it up, Linux devs have been neglecting baytrail tablets and netbooks.
