Stick with Asus or Gigabyte for mobo. Get a good psu for upgrading. Also SSDs are cheap now so get a good one and a decent wd drive or something for storage. Ram is pretty basic. I suggest logical increments if you want more detailed list for your price.

Tips for cable management? I have a wood desk and all of the cables on top my desk are fine, but on the bottom they're all over the place.(Btw my desk is old and you cant see the wires hanging down the back only on the floor.)

Its because I'd used a Motorola Moto E (2nd gen) to take the picture.
If I went and grabbed my Moto G (1st Gen) it'd probably be less grainy, but I don't have a digital camera other than either of those, so yeah, picture quality isn't the best unfortunately.
