I hate to be the one asking /g/ for help, but I'm pressed for time and need to know what OS should I switch to and how easy it will be. I'm not liking the bot net win10.
Further details: I bought the computer from someone who built it and started it with a purchased win 10. the guy it an idiot. I would like win8 or 7 but I don't want to pay so I was thinking I could use my product key to downgrade?

>he listens to /g/

Pirate then.

no. I hope to hear a good suggestion. sometimes they occur. I didn't get win10 myself, the other guy did. I wouldn't have

I was thinking that, but I don't know if the differences may effect software performance

why is the anime naked?
>>54675387
W10 has bricked all 7 computers it has touched in my house.

I dunno what differences should cause software perfomance. Everything works right when you know what you do. Keygen doesn't bring any slowing.

unless you get the one that's in broken english "window 7th edition | BEST OS..." shit and know the basics, you should be fine

No one can give a serious, non-shitpost reply without more serious information, OP.
What are your other requirements besides not paying for it? Listing the software you currently have installed would be a good start.

Ignore memes, install Ubuntu 16.04. It'll do most everything you need mostly painlessly, and setup is about 1 hour on average (incl. custom software).
If you take memes seriously go for Arch. If you take memes REALLY seriously Gentoo
If you want to experiment, Bedrock Linux is pretty cool

I plan to run intense games like overwatch and also do video and image editing on adobe softwares. I just don't want crashes.

Thanks. I just wonder how long uninstalling and reinstalling will take. I plan to "no life" overwatch day 1 so I don't want to risk having my computer dead because I don't know how to install an OS after getting rid of win 10

well shit, no linux then
windows 7 is great if you pre-download all the program installers and drivers you'll need (graphics, internet, browser, games is my usual list)
install gentoo
