Are e-book readers just memers?
No, and stop it, you're making me miss my Kindle Keyboard 3G.
They have a great battery life, the text is crisp and doesn't strain your eyes. If you read often I'd recommend one.

Can you redshift/f.lux them? If not you're killing your melatonin production if you use them to read in bed at night.
Pretty much. I read all my books on my Note 4. I also have a kindle I bought a year ago collecting dust.
Taking over this thread.
What eBook reader should I get if I want to pirate most of my books?
E-book readers? More like e-KEK MEMERS lmao

Im gonna buy one too so i've been checking out some.
I'd say a Kobo since it allows epubs.
But a Kindle is nice too since I read pdfs mostly, and you can convert epubs to Mobi format (amazon ebooks format)

>Kobo
No. The best kobo has less resolution than a midrange Kindle.
basically.
you're going to get meme'd hard, OP

What would you recommend, then?

Get a pocketbook. They are free as in freedom!

don't listen to this retard.
Kobo Glo HD has the same resolution as the top of the line Kindles, and unlike Kindle, Kobo has a 6.8" reader and a more open OS.

I can't find any place that sells them.
I just use my tablet. It works fine.
