My sata controller is dead. Both the dvd and the HD do not show up in the bios. All 4 sata connectors do not work. Tried with a new cable. Since it is integrated do I get a new computer or can I get a sata board? Is there any other possible explanation or solution?

If you're ready to upgrade or you can get a compatible motherboard for cheap get a new mb. Else try a data adapter, I'm assuming they are cheap. Buy first try bios resets and all basic trouble shooting

I dunno, I just build a Mini ATX machine with an i& in it for $800.
Pretty simple. Carried over my R9 and PSU from my last build and it runs liek a dream.
And I have like 10 SATA ports on a MoBo I spent $90 on.
