Are you???? Walking makes you better at walking. Your body adapts to the stress of it after about the 5th walk. If the goal of your fitness regiment has anything to do with weight loss or muscle gain, walking will not get you there. Period. What I actually use is

I used to be more creative with my workouts, but these days I simply do pull-ups, chin-ups, bodyweight rows on one day, and push-ups variations and shoulder presses and some other shoulder stuff on other days. Every now and then when the weather is good I go outside for a run. It's really not much, just half an hour to an hour every day, but I still get complimented quite often on my body, which still feels really weird.

If you are that fat you have serious food issues and you need to deal with you food issues first. But yes you can lose weight by simply eating at a caloric deficit. So start eating less. 4months into gym friend was drunk and pushed me over a railing. That was 6months ago. Got atleast another 6 months before docs let me lift again. They all said flexibilty needs work to avoid further injury and taking the oportunity and using time to lose weight.

Dont forget that side of fitness imo.

As far as tech, could never use headphones at the gym. Only things I brought were lifting shoes (was learning oly), chalk, towel, and an old phone because it was easier to wipe down than a notebook.
