Due to a liquid cooling tank explosion in my computer I may be out of a cpu and gpu. I won't know until this weekend when it has dried out completely.
If the worst has happened and those parts did die then I'll have to get new ones. My cpu was a 1st gen i7-950 and the gpu was a GTX650.
I'm guessing literally an intel cpu at this point would be an improvement and for the gpu, maybe I could upgrade to a 960.
What do you guys think?

Somebody here said a few days ago in another thread that current gen i3 performance was on par with oldest gen i7, so hopefully that helps you decide what to expect
>>54648951
lol 960
>>54648951
>i7-950
>GTX650
And nothing of value was lost.
Why are you liquid cooling a 650 desu senpai
>>54648951
nice meme
>>54648951
>liquid cooling
I'm done with it. I'll take the noise of fucking air cooling for the unbeatable reliability from now on.
>>54648951
>upgrade to a 960
This phrase doesn't get written much. Ponder that for a bit.
