How do I know if my GPU is fried? I've been using my card only for 6 months, brand new, and suddenly my pc restarted while playing a game and there are blue pixel lines on the screen and can't start any game now. PC recognizes the card but says it stopped working, reinstalled drivers several times and still the same. Is it ded?

Probably, some GPUs just come from the fav with hardware issues, I have a HD7950 that suddenly stopped working without showing any artifact nor any anomaly, yet I have a 9600GT that still works to this day without issues.

Just fill for a RMA.

You can tell if your pc suddenly restarted while playing a game and there are blue pixel lines on the screen and you can't start any game.

I ordered it from Amazon (warehouse not seller) and tried to find a return section but says its only within 30 days of purchase. Am I fucked?

No, contact the manufacturer or try to email Amazon and see if they can ship you a new one.

fuck. I really don't want to waste money shipping it to Taiwan and then say they won't replace it. Can they do this?

If your card is Nvidia then it's definitely dead. They overheat all the goddamn time.
>>
>>54642108
the fan was actually not working that time and card was very hot, you think they will deny replacement if it was by overheating? can they tell?

Nvidia will always find a way to jew you out. It's part of the JewForce Experience.

Clean the dust off the damn thing, you might prevent a real life housefire.

MSI makes their pcbs out of playdough, just prop yours up and you'll probably be fine.
