What's the ideal size for a 1080p monitor? One person told me 23 inches, the other said 24, so I wanted to double check.
this is fucking dumb I can't believe you made a thread for this
it's 25"
size doesn't matter
There is no blanket ideal size. It's all about your PPI needs. A 40 inch 1080p monitor is ideal if you plan to sit extremely far away from it or have horrible eyes. For typical office use, the standard is 23.8.

Depends how far away you sit from the monitor bro.
Just measure how far you usually sit, then google around seeing the best pixel density for 1080 at that distance and get the proper sized monitor from that.
Lower size means more ppi means it looks better from a short distance
If you're going to read frequently 23 or 24 is fine, just don't go 30 or else you're going to suffer

5-6 inches. 1080p is phone tier. For a desktop monitor, you should at least have 4k.
23 2/3rds"
Depends on what your OS was designed around. 1080p works well on Android, so it's good on a 5" screen. For Windows, 1080p works well on a 23" monitor. If you get a 24" 4K monitor and you run Windows on it, you're going to suffer.

21 max, 19 ideally
A small screen with okay PPI is better than a big screen w shit PPI

I have a 27" that's baller as all fuck. I'd recommend that.
21.5".
