35 Year old male never knowing what to do with my life now seeking new employment and potential career.
Been fucking around with computers since DOS 2.0 on a commodore 64.
No coding experience what so ever.
My question:
>What makes the most money in Information Technology?
>In which category of IT?
>What school would you attend?
>What school would you attend if you're older in age?
>Is it too late to start learning how to code at my old age?
Out of curiosity, what field are you currently in?

I was a bartender for 10 years than I worked in a office answering phones for a public records company finding and locating subjects. Worked on hooking up and setting up computers. Out of work at the current moment.

Build business applications for small companies. It'll net you more than going through all the bullshit it requires to make it into a salaried position at a mid-tiered company, plus they all need at least something done, and most don't trust pajeet.

I'm no desi that's 100% sure. So many people were grateful that I was a American that spoke clearly over the phone at my last job. What field would I need to learn for building business applications? javascript?

Language, and really, whatever you decide to learn is fine as long as it has a significant market share.
Javascript/PHP could be written if you had a hole in your skull, so I guess go with those first. Just make sure your design is up to scratch so they're happy with the visual aspect of the work, otherwise it doesn't matter how efficient or foolproof anything is, they assume you suck.
