Depends on who writes it.
I had to dig through some jar files from some random russian dude that was made years ago and never meant to see the light of day again and it was awful.
Reading other people's' code is generally better than reading my own old code

I usually have a lot of difficulty reading other people's code when it goes a way too low level. I more often than not figure it out, but it takes me more time than I'd consider necessary.
I have never actually seen good code that I haven't written before. I usually think that whoever wrote it must be completely retarded.
