Am I the only one who gets schadenfreude knowing that people fall for these scams?

>schadenfreude
why though?
>>54622151
Because only a fucking idiot would get a "nanodegree". They deserve to be scammed.
>>54622731
Either a job offer, or some free learning resources sounds pretty great though.

>job offer guaranteed or full refund

schawat

Slave-wage-tier codemonkey job offer is also a job offer.
I wasn't even aware of such thing because my Facebook page doesn't display any ads.

80% of /g/ would be happy with such an offer after a 3 year college degree, so if you can get the same thing after an intensive course, that's not a bad deal.

>schadenfreude
KYS you are self,my man.
These things are fine. They offer the refund on the basis that you actually complete the course and most people don't manage to. If there's a scam it's basically that they just make it fucking hard so as many people as possible drop out.
If you can finish it you actually deserve a job. These things are not easy.

>Slave-wage-tier codemonkey
I don't understand how these terms make sense together. The absolute minimum you could make as a code monkey where I live would literally make you one of the top 25% richest people in the country.
Where the fuck do you live?
>>54621704
>Nanodegree
is that better or worse than a Megadegree?
>>54623233
Where the fuck do you live?
>>54623257
Olympia, Washington which I feel like is not a particularly special place.
>>54622898
It's better than a manual labor job.
>>54623081
Hmm what an interesting business model desu. It isn't a scam, because they actually teach you shit, they just make it so hard you actually have to be an autodidactic savant.
>>54623245
Neither, one requires an electron microscope to view while the other over qualifies you.
>>54621704
Fuck yes, I'm signing up for this right now. Nanomachines, son.
