lubuntu or mint?
What should I choose for better batery life on my x220 ?
I don't want to install arch. Or I just have to stay on windows 10?

then install gentoo

gentoo is total shit for me
lubuntu
mint is slow and trash
Mint devs either don't care about security (or they are incompetent).
Anything but mint.

Could be other. As I said I want good battery life. Now I have about 2-3h on 6 cel battry in my x220.
windows will get better battery life.
but any distro with tlp installed would work alright.

So linux can't help me. Now I'm using windows 10.

if you solely care about battery life, probably not.
that's not a strong suit of loonux

>i want my screen to tear 24/7
There will be little difference between Lubuntu and Mint battery-wise: both will get 2/3 of the battery life of Win10 if you are lucky.

wtf are you doing on your computer that allows you to choose your OS based on battery life?

I will tell you super amazing mega hacker secret that only linux pros know about. There is no fucking difference between power draw on any distros you dumb shit. What matters is 1. disabling compositing (causes tearing) 2. disabling startup bloat. I don't recommend disabling compositing however because it's simply not worth it. Install tlp, disable some shit and call it a day.
Mint is garbage, LXDE is dead, install Xubuntu.

I can reach longer battery life with Xfce 4.12 than W7 (i don't have newer version).
