is it okay to have a computer tower sitting on carpet (moderately shaggy if that matters). should i get something to put under it?

Honestly, even if the PSU fan isn't facing down, it's best to put a plank of wood underneath the PC regardless.
mine's been sitting on the carpet for a few years now
it works perfectly fine since the case feet keep it well above the carpet. the only issue is the fuckloads of dust
I recently moved it onto a table since it's on the other side of my desk and it was hard to reach the front usb ports
