I matched with 7s and 8s and the rare 9s and would go on dates with them.
Problem was I used terrible photos and couldn't get a variety of new ones because I lacked friends.
It was this horrible loop of not having good photos and not being able to take decent ones due to a lack of a social group, yet I continually matched with 7-8s on both okcupid and tinder and went on dates with these women.
On the dates they quickly assessed that my looks didn't match my personality (extremely autistic). Several of them would give me clues to kiss them at the end of the date and I was scared of them the entire date because I kept thinking they were wayyyyyy out of my league (apparently not). I cringe even thinking about all the mistakes I made..
Anywho it's a numbers game. Eventually I went on numerous dates, continued to fail date after date but started to become less and less autistic. Eventually I came closer to the semblance of a normally functioning human being and randomly ran into a very hot woman randomly downtown. I used all the mistakes and lessons learned after failing at dating the past 2 years and everything worked extremely well and ended up dating her a few weeks later:
I still have almost no friends (she points this out), lack some social skills and have horrible photos (due to first point but now least I have a few with her) and would rather do nerd things than interact with the outside world... But it's possible.
