Because instead I bought a chromebook where all you have to do to flash coreboot is remove a screw, rather than a complete disassembly and use of special tools. Also its a shit ton faster.

That's actually really awesome that coreboot supports the T420 more open and fast as hell, flashing this on my T420, got Libreboot on my X200 and it's incredible, this is wonderful news
