hi guys,
i want to flash new firmware on my e3000. after looking into ddwrt, openwrt, and tomato, and being a beginner, i think i want to try tomato. but the list of things it supports is rather small at http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato even though people talk about it supporting all kinds of different routers. is there some other builds i should be finding instead or something? pretty confused here.
Use dd-wrt
If you fuck this up you will brick it FYI. I use dd wrt on my router. Bricked it once but just sent it back to Amazon and got a new one then it worked.

yeah im aware that i can ruin it. im sure itll work if i just flash the right thing
also i found this, but on the k26 page, wtf am i supposed to download? i take it these are packages containing various amounts of features but, i dont really care if i just get the biggest one. which should i get?

dont bother, its not worth the trouble of fucking it up. if you actually cared you would build a pfsense machine

I bricked a router once, but opened it up and reflashed through the programming headers
