Which is worse, C++ or PHP?
>>54585677
At least php isn't littered with OOP.
>>54585677
PHP definitely.
C++ isn't even bad.
>>54585677
PHP, at least C++ is actually useful for high-performance code
>>54585677
C++ had lambda.
PHP has HIV

>>54586896
PHP has had closures and anonymous functions since long before C++
>>54585677
PHP definitively, because it's weakly typed
>>54586896
C++14 has lambda again
>>54585677
PHP is such an absolute madness language I wouldn't consider it being bad. It's like the guy sat down and thought "you know what would be good? no rules".

this desu, having control of how much memory variables take up is good
I'm going to say PHP is worse, but C++ suffers a lot of the same problems (poor design choices, synergistic interactions of said poor design choices, and featuritis.)
