Need an opinion, /g/
I'm mulling over buying a new monitor. I've heard I should just wait until OLED monitors come out, but I don't know how long that will be.
I've got a Dell ST2010f (LCD) and I want to get the Dell S2415H (LED). It'll cost about 175 USD. Should I get, or wait till birthday and say "fuck it, I'm getting the 4k"?
Pretty sure OLED is just a meme and completely worthless. Just get a 144hz monitor.

OLED looks better than anything else on the market, but I think it has issues with longevity and everything with OLED is pricey as fuck.
Get the 4K or atleast 1440.
As somebody that brought 1080 panels last year, I regretted it almost instantly.
Compromises more often lead to remorse.

1440 is almost a meme. If, like this dude, you have an shit display, then it would be okay to get a 1440 one, but if you plan to upgrape again in the next two years and then keeping the 1440 as a second monitor.
Now I do have a 1080 and a 768 as second display, but I'll wait for the stable 4K/OLED.
There is literally one 4K OLED monitor out this year and it will cost $5000, so unless you are a richfag just get a monitor now

Despite my shitpost, yes OLED monitors are expensive and not yet developed yet, but OLED screens on phones are 10/10
buy a 144hz 1440p monitor today.
in a couple of years buy a nice 32-40" 4k monitor with all the trimmings and use the 144440pHz as second screen/gayming device.

Which one would you recommend?
Thinking about ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q or Dell S2716DG.
