Actually yes, I have a drive in a NAS that's been running over a full decade now, will post proof when I get home.
Almost four years, it's my only HDD on my only computer
My oldest one is a Samsung 300 GB at 31427 hours so not even halfway there.

My oldest one is 200gb WD, it has something like 30k hours. Not using it anymore - it's still operational and has no bad sectors detected in SMART, but it's clicking during intensive writes and overall is very noisy. Also have a pentium4 laptop laying around, it has 40gb ide drive there will check it's smart now.
