Poorfags - stock
Price/Performance - 212 evo
Quiet/Performance/Not Liquid - Noctua
If you need performance > all, AIO. AIOs vs high end air is a case by case scenario, if you have a large case, the 0% chance of a leak or pump failure is worth more than being able to choose where you dissipate heat. vice versa, uATX/ITX builds benefit from being able to move the radiator around.

I gave it the benefit of the doubt with the soundstage but as a person who owns two pairs of Sony Xtra bass headphones, they did sound mediocre. I actually heard the bass when I put my ears near them like resting the headphones on my temples near my ears.

Oh it's great. 4 browser windows up at the same time at 1920x1080 size. Games are immersive as hell like a surround setup almost but no bezels. The only bad thing is mobas like Dota where it's too big to move your mouse across or see all the action without moving your head. I just use a 1920x1080 window for that game. Of course the other downfall is it costs a fortune in GPU power to drive it for games.

there are 3 reasons to get a sound card
1) you onboard sucks and you don't have the connections you need
2a) your onboard is having conflicts/is broken
2b) some onboard is shielded like shit so there is an audible hiss constantly at reasonable volumes. good reason to get a usb external card/dac
3) you have audio equipment that is over 500$ on the headphones or over 2000$ on the speakers to actually take advantage of the higher quality.
i can see people who listen to music or love movies buying a sound card.
hell my last computer had one because onboard drivers were fucked and nothing would fix them, they pinged a core of my computer 100% and never relented.

I had that exact same CPU with the fan that woke the dead. I bought the cheapest 120mm fan I could find ($30-40 IIRC) and that kept it cool and as quiet as the old pre-build Core 2 Duo family PC, even running the latest gaymes.
