all OS'es are basically equal for 80% of what people do. I find my workflow is better in OS X so I use it on when I'm not at my desk.

Also, some people buy into the delusion that Apple hardware is more expensive it's "the most up to date".

i am a lifelong win/unix user, working in it security, we got company macbook pro's to troubleshoot mac os software, since a shitton of companies are buying macbooks instead of regular ass desktops for their workstations. After getting to know osx, i much prefer it to any win/unix GUI, mostly because of the trackpad and the default keyboard shortcuts, it's easily the best OS for regular usage, i stand by the saying we have - unix for servers, windows for gaming, osx for intuitive computing
