Were writing a compiler to mips. I'm pretty pissed to be learning a Dino language, but I see the reasoning. Writing a compiler is hard. My teacher wrote a reference implementation for us to test, and him to grade against. Rewriting it for arm is just too much work when mips is just fine I guess.
